Craig Drives
Sunday September 8th, 2024, CPJC Ice Cream Run
(This replaces the drive on Sept. 4th)

Here’s a beautiful fun drive in the scenic hills just southwest of Calgary with an ice cream stop.

Time and place: Depart Tim Hortons parking lot in Signal Hill Shopping Centre at 2:00 pm on Sunday September 8.
Roads: basically mint asphalt, so 9.9/10
Duration: 1.5-2.0 hours.
Destination: The Granary Road Farmers Market, Red Deer Lake
Post the ice cream tasting, we will scatter back home via nearby SW ring road.

5:00 pm to 6:00 pm Preregistration for the Sunday Show & Shine at the Eamon's Museum

6:00 pm to10:00 pm Dinner & Dance with live music at the Call of the West Museum & Eamon's Museum.

             Dinner at 6:30 pm, dance to the Metro Beat at 7:30 to 10:00 pm.
             Wine & Cheese in the new Eamon's Museum Building addition.
             Camping available at the Sunset Drive-Inn behind Museum.

The Call of the West Museum and Eamon's Museum are located in the High River Agricultural Grounds.

10 am to 3:30 pm 3rd Annual Brian Chipchase Sr Show& Shine downtown High River. No charge for public.

Entry to the show for Participants on Sunday will be on 1st Street SW from 12th Ave.

No vehicle entry into the Show until 7:30 am.

Entry fee is $20.00, cash only accepted. Food donations for the Salvation Army also will be accepted.
